Nantucket Island's Greydon House Summer Packages

For the golfers in the group, Nantucket has 3 golf courses on the Island. Miacomet is the only public 18-hole golf course. This links-style layout is located one mile from the ocean and about 3 miles from town and originally opened in 1963 with nine holes. In the 1980's the club was sold to the Nantucket Island Land Bank with the hope of preserving this special piece of Island beauty. In 2003, it was expanded to an 18 hole track by architect Howard Maurer, and in 2007 the original 9 was completely renovated. Miacomet, which means 'the meeting place" in Wanpanoag continues to serve both the year-round and seasonal players as a practice, golf and meeting place. Siaconset golf club is a privately owned 9 hole public club that opened in 1894 and closes in the winter and reopens from May to October. The private Nantucket Golf Club is a 1998 Rees Jones design that takes full advantage of the low lying land and maybe the folks at Greydon can help get you on.
